Midwife MCO contracting workgroup

Item 295.XX from the 2026-2028 biennium budget created a workgroup to address barriers certain licensed midwives (CPMs) and licensed certified midwives (CMs) and licensed certified nurse midwives (CNMs) from contracting with managed care organizations (MCOs) through Cardinal Care. The workgroup shall present solutions to address those barriers along with budget requests to the General Assembly by December 1, 2027. This is the first workgroup meeting.
