The Virginia Council on Environmental Justice (VCEJ) will convene a hybrid in-person public meeting with a virtual option on Monday, September 21st. An optional data center bus tour will take place from 9:00am - 11:00am. If members of the public would like to go on the bus tour, please sign up by Friday, September 18 at noon using the link in the agenda. Seating will be limited. The in-person meeting will be held 11:30am - 5:00pm at the Centreville Regional Library in Centreville, and the virtual meeting will be hosted on GoTo Webinar. The meeting discussions will focus on several topics including, but not limited to, the Mountain Valley Pipeline project, community presentations about data centers, and the Council's 2026 Annual Report. Two public comment periods relevant to environmental justice (EJ) topics and/or community concerns will be considered by the VCEJ at the meeting. Further details about the meeting, including how to submit a public comment, are included on the attached agenda.
