VPCC Board's Ad Hoc Awards Committee Meeting

The Virginia Peninsula Community College Board’s Ad Hoc Awards Committee will meet virtually at 3 p.m. on Thursday Feb. 26. During the meeting, participants will review nominations for the Dana B. Hamel award. Named for the first chancellor of Virginia’s Community Colleges (VCCS), the award is presented during the College’s Commencement Ceremony to acknowledge individuals or entities for their outstanding public service, fostering access to higher education, and promoting an understanding of workforce development’s role as an essential part of the College’s mission. The meeting is not open to the public.
