Board of Visitors Special Meeting

The Virginia Military Institute Board of Visitors, will hold a special meeting on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Smith Hall Boardroom at VMI. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss matters related to the appointment of the 16th superintendent. There will be no opportunity for public comment at this meeting. However, any written comments received by the Board of Visitors secretary before Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. will be distributed to each member of the Superintendent Search Committee for their consideration. Written comments may be emailed to BOVSecretary@vmi.edu or mailed to Col. Bill Wyatt, Board of Visitors secretary, Virginia Military Institute, 201 Smith Hall, Lexington, Va. 24450.
