Virginia Peninsula Community College’s Local Board will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 17 at the Historic Triangle campus in Williamsburg (4601 Opportunity Way). Convening in room 110, the Board will discuss updates from its Curriculum, Instruction and Student Services committee, Budget &Finance committee, College & Facilities committee, and the College & Facilities Renaming Taskforce. Public comment can be accepted only in written form. Submit comments to Barbara Mason via email at masonb@vpcc.edu or by mail to: The Office of the President, 99 Thomas Nelson Dr., Hampton, VA 23666. All comments received will become a part of the public record. The Board’s committee will also meet Wednesday, May 17 at the Historic Triangle campus as follows: Budget & Finance — 3:30 p.m. in room 316 Facilities — 4:15 p.m. in the Library Curriculum, Instruction and Student Services — 4:45 p.m. in room 117-L The general board meeting and those of its committees are open to the public in accordance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.
