This meeting is assembled during a declared state of emergency when it is impracticable or unsafe to assemble a quorum in a single location to discuss or transact the business statutorily required or necessary to continue operation of the public body in accordance with Item 4-0.01.g of Chapter 1289 (2020 Acts of Assembly). The meeting will commence at 12:30 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Board members will participate remotely. There is no opportunity for public comment during this meeting. The general purpose of the meeting is to brief the Spaceport’s operations and technical status; construction progress, review and amend VCSFA Board Bylaws, discuss the selection process for board officers, review financials and budget, and provide an update on the Virginia Space ThinSat Program. A closed Executive Session will be conducted to discuss prospective business and personnel matters.
