Open session followed by Closed session. Board members will access the meeting electronically via Zoom. There will be a public comment period during the meeting for a maximum of one-hour. The board will receive comments only on matters pertaining to the proposed agenda items. If you would like to offer public comment at the August 14th meeting, you must register by providing the following information via email sent to bod@vcuhealth.org: name, email and phone number, VCU affiliation, (e.g. student, faculty, employee, alumni, parent or member of the public), and request for reasonable accommodation. Please note in the subject line that you are registering to speak at the public comment. You may also call Mary Tacconi, board liaison, at (804) 828-9962 to register. Speakers will proceed in the order of registration and should be online at the start of the meeting at 9a.m. to facilitate meeting operations. Speakers will be limited to a maximum of three minutes each. Preference will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 20 individuals to register will have the opportunity to speak during the public comment period; individuals beyond the first 20 to register may submit written comments (see below). Individuals unable to virtually attend the public comment period or to provide comment during the allotted one-hour period may provide written comment via an email bod@vcuhealth.org to ensure an adequate opportunity for informed public comment on the proposed agenda items, please submit comments by Wednesday, August 12th. In accordance with board procedures, there will be no opportunity for public comment during the meeting other than during the public comment period.
